How does whatsipy know if a customer is risky?
When an order comes in, whatsipy checks the customer's phone number and address against courier delivery history to calculate a delivery ratio (how often they accept parcels) and an address match score. Orders below your thresholds are auto-tagged as risky so you can verify before shipping.
Does the WhatsApp automation use the official API?
Yes. whatsipy only uses Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), connected through your own Meta Business account. No unofficial scraping tools, so your number won't get banned.
Which couriers are supported?
TCS, Leopards, PostEx, M&P, Daewoo, Trax and more — with new couriers added regularly. You connect each courier with your own account API keys inside the plugin's Courier Settings.
Will this slow down my checkout?
No. Fraud and duplicate checks run in the background after the order is placed via our cloud API — your checkout flow is never blocked.
Do customers need to opt in to WhatsApp messages?
Transactional order updates go to the number the customer provided at checkout. For marketing broadcasts, whatsipy enforces opt-in consent to keep you compliant with WhatsApp's commerce policy.
